Chance Art Steps That Students Followed:

1. Gently toss/throw small objects (markers, erasers, pencils) onto paper.
2. Trace the outline where the objects landed
3. Shade the inside of the outlines with pencil using a full range of values from light to dark
4. Add colorful patterns in the background

Some students chose to do another type of chance art where they splattered paint onto their paper and then created a drawing from the shapes the paint made.
